Noreen Grant secures summary judgment in premises liability and negligent activity lawsuit on behalf of national distributor. Plaintiff contended that a forklift hit him and pushed him through a chain across a dock door opening in Defendant's warehouse, causing severe brain damage. Plaintiff alleged that Defendant's employees were negligent and that the chain was an inadequate safety measure.

On June 6, 2007, presiding judge in the 160th Judicial District Court, Dallas, granted Defendant's No Evidence Motion for Summary Judgment on the grounds that the chain was not a dangerous condition, Defendant had no knowledge of the chain being a dangerous condition, and neither the chain nor negligent driving proximately caused the Plaintiff's fall.
