Dax Richard obtained a defense verdict in Jasper County on behalf of a construction company in a lawsuit involving allegations of trespassing and conversion that were brought by the plaintiffs based on a broken water pipe on an adjoining property.

The jury found the co-defendant — an adjacent land owner — to be solely responsible for the damages alleged.

As a result, the jury's verdict awarded the Plaintiffs compensatory, punitive and statutory damages to be paid only by the co-defendant.
