Overview

Amanda Schwartz brings compassion, attention to detail, and skilled advocacy to her representation of corporate and individual clients. At every stage of her career, Amanda has distinguished herself as an attorney who understands her clients as well as she understands the law. This has led not only to successful results, but to strong, long-lasting client relationships as well.

With a practice that focuses primarily on construction litigation, insurance defense, and premises liability matters, has extensive experience in all aspects of complex litigation, including pleading practice, the discovery process, dispositive and pre-trial motions, and trial. Amanda has prepared motions and argued in Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico courts, resulting in multiple rulings favorable to her clients. Amanda has also obtained positive results at the appellate level in Texas and Oklahoma. Her efforts have resulted in multimillion-dollar verdicts in her clients’ favor, leading to her inclusion in Texas Lawyer magazine’s “$10 Million Dollar Club.”

Amanda’s academic record is equally impressive. She distinguished herself with the Order of the Coif while earning her law degree from Southern Methodist University, where she also served as staff member/articles editor for the Southern Methodist Law Review. Prior to law school, Amanda obtained her undergraduate degree, with honors, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
