Focusing his practice on construction litigation, Leslie builds strong working relationships with a broad range of clients, from architects and engineers to subcontractors and material suppliers. His practical approach to litigation, emphasis on clear, consistent client communication, and acute awareness of the financial implications of prolonged litigation make Leslie a valued and trusted advisor for those facing complex litigation matters.

A graduate of Texas Tech University, Leslie earned his J.D. cum laude from South Texas College of Law – Houston. When not working on legal solutions for his clients, Leslie is usually coaching young skydivers at the local drop zone, participating in formation skydives, riding his motorcycle through the hill country, or spinning wrenches under the hood of his truck.

Leslie is admitted to practice in all Texas state courts as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern, Western, Southern, and Northern Districts of Texas.

Representative Experience

  • Obtained summary judgment granting dismissal of a sub-contractor in suit involving the fall and injury of the subcontractor’s employee at a work site in Harris County, Texas
  • Obtained a ruling against a large general contractor/developer attempting to compel a subcontractor to submit to arbitration along with the owner, thereby leveraging a nuisance value settlement and avoiding all but minimal litigation costs
  • Obtained nonsuits and/or dismissals in numerous cases ranging from personal injury and property damage lawsuits to defamation and construction defect lawsuits without the need for settlement or the cost of protracted litigation
