For attorneys with litigation experience (6-10 years), we have openings for candidates interested in a challenging litigation position. You will defend product liability and general liability cases in both State and Federal Courts. The right candidate will be given significant responsibility, including motions, discovery, case management and development of litigation strategy. The position offers the opportunity to litigate against accomplished opponents in high-exposure cases.
If you are an attorney with 3-5 years of litigation experience and are looking for your opportunity, we offer a chance to take the next career step and further your litigation skills by taking depositions, attending hearings, and developing and executing litigation strategy on cases. Qualifications:
- JD from an ABA accredited law school
- Admitted to practice in Texas
- 3+ years of litigation experience
- Superior analytical skills and ability to navigate novel legal issues
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Deposition and law and motion experience preferred
- Ability to work within a fast-paced team environment
Responsibilities:
- Manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end
- Work closely with other attorneys on legal projects
- Effectively communicate with clients
- Regularly handle court appearances, written discovery, motion practice, and depositions

Insurance Defense Litigation Paralegal/Legal Assistant:
The Firm is seeking a skilled, self-directed litigation paralegal to join our trial team. You will be responsible for the coordination of all the details before, during and after trial.
The successful candidate must have high-level experience with a range of litigation support applications. Additional qualifications include excellent analytical and organizational abilities, solid communication and management skills, creativity, initiative and ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-claim investigation, legal research and initial case assessments
- Draft pleadings, motions, and notices and file them with the court
- Knowledge of statutory deadlines (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics, etc.)
- Obtaining, analyzing and organizing third party records such as medical records, billing records, and construction files
- Scheduling depositions and hearings
- Corresponding and working with experts
- Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs and appendices
- Aid attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests
- Gather relevant information from a variety of sources
- Liaise between trial teams and internal/external third parties
- Help with voir dire, jury selection and witness preparation
- Maintains chain of custody
- Manages logistics of production of documents – hard copy, images, native
- Checks legal cites for proper format, content and standing (Westlaw, Lexis)
Skills:
- Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures, practices etc.
- Highly organized with ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong writing and communication skills along with attention to detail
- Extensive computer and database expertise
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a litigation paralegal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Proficient in Adobe
- E-filing tools
