Greg Ziegler and Rebecca Alcantar secure highly defense-favorable settlement for geotechnical engineers

A national homebuilder doing business in the DFW Metroplex  sued local geotechnical engineers after the homebuilder settled over two-dozen claims with homeowners in response to the homeowners’ complaints about the builder’s alleged poor grading and drainage and the absence of gutters and downspouts allegedly causing foundation problems.

The homebuilder sought damages in excess of $3 million.

The case ultimately settled for less than the anticipated cost of defending the case through trial.  Greg Ziegler and Rebecca Alcantar successfully represented the geotechnical engineers.
