Christy maintains an active trial practice and specializes in personal injury, commercial construction litigation, premises liability, Dram Shop Litigation, and products liability defense. She represents Fortune 500 companies and insurers, medium-sized companies as well as individuals. Ms. Hext also handles commercial litigation and arbitration matters and performs employment consulting.
Overview
Christy has first-chaired over sixty jury trials. Recent trial results include: received defense verdict in trucking case in Laredo, Texas, received defense verdict on a premises liability case for national restaurant chain in federal court in Dallas, Texas and successfully handled related appeal, received defense verdict in a products liability case against nationally recognized plaintiff firm, received defense verdict in a products liability case and prevailed on counterclaim for damages and received favorable verdict for employer on Fair Labor & Standards Act (FLSA) case in federal court.
