Can you tell us about yourself?
- I am a litigation paralegal with many years of experience in the legal field. I enjoy problem solving, organizing complex cases, and helping attorneys and clients navigate challenges. One of the most rewarding parts of my work is knowing that I help people and contribute to the pursuit of justice. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my children, traveling, and caring for my seven puppies and Double Yellow-Headed Amazon parrot. I am fascinated by indigenous cultures and holistic herbal medicine. I also appreciate the simple things in life such as connecting with nature. I am naturally curious and always looking for opportunities to learn and grow.
What is the best advice you’ve received?
- “Control what you can control.” – This advice has helped me focus on my attitude, effort, and preparation rather than dwelling on things outside of my control. It reminds me to put my energy into what I can change and let go of what I cannot. That mindset has helped me stay positive, resilient, and focused in both my personal and professional life.
